Reinforcements arrive to improve DC Hyper in UPSL

Seeking to qualify the DC Hyper team in the UPSL dispute, the club’s management sought to reinforce the team, in general, for the continuation of the regular season, and brought important reinforcements from Brazil. Sérgio Caetano, new coach, and four other athletes, arrived in Washington to begin training with the new team.

With experience in Brazilian professional football, Brendo, Fábio, Pedrinho and João Baesso arrive to qualify the DC team’s squad in the competition. The players have already played together, under Caetano’s command, at Mogi Mirim, a team from the interior of the state of São Paulo, in Brazil.

The DC Hyper CEO’s idea is to promote even greater qualification with a view to qualifying for the second phase of the UPSL in the team’s first year of competition.

DC’s next match is this Saturday, against the Frederick Kings, in the second round of the regular season
