With a perfect start in the UPSL DMV North Premier Division, DC Hyper has impressed with three consecutive victories and no goals conceded. But behind the team’s strong on-field performance lies a deeper story of strategic reorganization and professional planning taking shape behind the scenes.

At the center of this process is General Manager Gabriel Ferrari, who joined the club’s leadership in early 2024 and has played a key role in shaping a new era for the organization.

“We have a clear mid- and long-term project,” said Ferrari. “The goal is not only to compete, but to build a stronger, more modern, and professional club in every area.”

One of the driving forces of DC Hyper’s current stability is the continuity on the sidelines. Head Coach Sergio Caetano, now in his fourth season with the team, has been instrumental in establishing a consistent identity and high performance across the board.

“Sergio’s work is exceptional. He knows the group, knows how to manage challenges, and continues to deliver results even with roster changes. He’s a coach who understands the DNA of the club and has the full confidence of everyone involved,” Ferrari emphasized.

This season has also brought changes to the squad. In the most recent match alone, six new players made their debuts, reflecting a broader plan to increase competition and strengthen depth.

“We’ve reshaped parts of the roster with purpose. The season is long, and we need balance and depth. At the same time, we’re working behind the scenes on performance tools, data analysis, communication — everything needed to take this club to the next level,” Ferrari added.

Despite the team’s early success, the focus remains on long-term sustainability and growth.

“Of course we have competitive goals, but more importantly, we want DC Hyper to be known for its management, for its professionalism, and for how it treats players, staff, and supporters. That’s what we’re building.”

DC Hyper will look to extend its unbeaten run this Saturday, April 26, against MoCo 1776 at Gaithersburg High School. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
