After an impressive season last year, DC Hyper returned to action with a dominant performance in their 2025 UPSL opener. Facing Hybrid Football Club, the team secured a 3-0 victory with goals from Pedrinho, Hassan, and Matthew.
The match started with both teams battling for control, but DC Hyper—nicknamed “The Thunder”—gradually took command. Early in the first half, Jiovanny created a brilliant play down the wing and set up Pedrinho, who fired a strong shot from the edge of the box to break the deadlock.
DC Hyper went into halftime with a 1-0 lead. Shortly after the restart, Pedrinho showcased his skills again, this time beating his marker and delivering a perfect cross for Hassan to tap in the second goal.
With the lead in hand, head coach Sergio Caetano made several substitutions to test different options. The changes paid off, and Matthew sealed the victory from the penalty spot, making it 3-0.
DC Hyper now shifts its focus to the next match, scheduled for this Saturday against Bridge Sports. The game will be played away, with kickoff set for 7 PM.
