Washington, D.C. – May 24, 2025
In a dramatic and emotionally charged match at Edgewood Rec Center, DC Hyper and Chiefs United played to a 3-3 draw on Saturday night, in a result that kept both teams firmly in contention at the top of the UPSL DMV North Premier Division.

The night delivered everything expected from a top-of-the-table clash: intensity, momentum shifts, and a flurry of goals. Chiefs United opened the scoring early, but DC Hyper responded with determination, turning the game around with goals from David and Hassan ElSayed to take a 2-1 lead.

The visitors equalized midway through the second half, but once again, DC Hyper found a way back in front — this time with Boca finishing a well-worked play to make it 3-2. Unfortunately, the win slipped away in the final minute of regulation, as Chiefs United capitalized on a late opportunity to level the score.

“It was a tough result to accept because we were very close to taking all three points,” said Head Coach Sergio Caetano after the match. “But we created chances, showed spirit, and the players worked hard until the end. Now we have to regroup, fix details, and move forward.”

The draw leaves DC Hyper unbeaten in five of their last six matches and still near the top of the standings as the regular season enters its final stretch.
